Curry Back at Berwick | News
George Curry is back on the sidelines as the new head football coach at Berwick High School.
Curry announced the plans to Newswatch 16 sports on Monday night.
Curry last coached at Wyoming Valley West three years ago.
Former Berwick head coach Gary Campbell, Jr. is returning to Massachusetts to coach his alma mater.
The Berwick School Board voted 8-1 to quickly open up the position and find a new coach. They did not have to look far.
And with that the Berwick School District hired former coach George Curry and his 413 career wins and six state championships.
Berwick opens up the 2012 season with Crestwood.
